Our Parent Company

Our parent company, Reliance, Inc., headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, stands as the largest metals service center company in North America. Reliance Metals Canada Limited (RMCL) embraces an innovative corporate structure, serving Canada’s diverse industries from coast to coast. In 2007, Reliance, Inc. acquired Encore Metals and Team Tube. This led to the establishment of RMCL in 2009, tasked with overseeing Encore, Team Tube, and Earle M. Jorgensen (Canada).

Our goal is to have no accidents, injuries, or ill health to employees, contractors, or visitors to our premises. Our proprietary “Safe Point” technology-based program ensures thorough attention to all elements of our health and safety programs and drives our success in safety, employee participation, and compliance. Employee engagement and participation are encouraged with our “Safe Points” Incentive Program, where employees are awarded incentives for reporting substandard conditions, near misses, participating in workplace inspections, attending safety meetings, and for making suggestions that improve our safety program. We take pride in ensuring our facilities and people are safe. Our locations in Alberta are COR certified through Partners in Injury Reduction, and we have implemented the same program requirements and expectations at all of our locations.
